Highlighting Our Two Recent Publications !!!
IBAM-Lab has two new publications. These publications are the proof of our interdisciplinary and collaborative work.
First publication is a fruit of our NSF grant (PI: Guvendiren, Co-PI: Joachim Kohn - Rutgers), a collaboration between New Jersey Center for Biomaterials at Rutgers and IBAM-Lab at NJIT. "The control of stem cell morphology and differentiation using three-dimensional printed scaffold architecture" is published in MRS Communications. [Link]
Our second publication is a new collaboration with FDA, titled "Functionally-relevant morphological profiling: a tool to assess cellular heterogeneity", which is published online in Trends in Biotechnology. [Link]

Printing Chocolate for Engineering Career Day at NJIT :)
IBAM-Lab represented Chemical, Biological and Pharmaceutical Engineering (CBPE) Department during the Engineering Career Day. Dr. Guvendiren delivered a short presentation on "Chemical Engineering as a Career" and presented the CBPE department. We also demonstrated 3D printing of chocolate (thanks to Shen Ji) and key chains with NJIT logo. We also distributed key chains to students. Key chain designs are selected from designs developed by the undergraduate students taking Dr. Guvendiren's 3d printing course. Designs are created for a design challenge competition in the hands-on lab section.
