Dr. Guvendiren receives NJIT Faculty Seed Grant (FSG) award. This is a collaborative project on "3D bioprinting of liver tissue models" with Dr. Rebecca Wells from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

A Fresh, New Start at NJIT! 

Dr. Guvendiren joins NJIT as a tenure-track assistant professor within Otto H. York Department of Chemical, Biological and Pharmaceutical Engineering. He also receives a joint appointment form the Department of Biomedical Engineering.

The 14th Symposium on Biomaterials Science was held on October 24-25, 2016 by the New Jersey Center for Biomaterials, Rutgers University, NJ. This event also celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Center, and 250th anniversary of the Rutgers University.

Dr. Guvendiren delivered a keynote speech on "Designing biomaterials for 3D printing".
